After that we went to take their mrt to town!

Look at their burger! This is their BBQ chicken burger and they even have banana pie!

Hey guys, it's time for me to update you on my adventure in Beijing again. We went to have steamboat yesterday night, with beer to go along! Shiok!
Each person actually have their own pot and you can choose from mushroom soup or spicy soup.
This is their sauce whereby they call it 麻酱 which i feel it's disgusting and taste like peanut butter when u dip the meat into it.
And the next day was once again an excursion day for us and we're heading to one of the famous art gallery and their "clarke quay" this week.

Although out here it looks deserted and looks like a factory but its not, these are actually renovated into art galleries.
This is one of their art works. The picture below actually shows that this narrow door or rather pathway can actually lead to a household!

And we saw scorpion and snake wine!
We finally reached the "clarke quay" whhich my china friends called it 后海.

Beautiful huh?

And this is where the old man is performing his art by blowing into the malt candy and making it into animals!
And by the time we reach the end of the shopping street, we've reach their river and man i tell you, it is beautiful! A lot of pubs are situated over there.

And that was all for the day.

The Forbidden City

Hi guys it's time for me again to intro you the photos where it's the forbidden city is!

let me tell u that beyond this gate is a very nice scenery!

ok looking at the parade square infront of the place is where all the officials stand to pay respects to the emperor!

This is the bronze crance, considered one of the mystical beasts of the ancient times!

This is what they call the turtle dragon, haha.
This is the grain measure, they use this to measure the rice and food weight!

and this is the sundial! it tells the time!

This is where the top few highest officials report to the emperor!

Man... i love the throne, but its considered an restricted area, so we could only take photos from the outside.

If you can see 2 huge water jugs there, if for placing rice and porridge for the emperor!

This is the rooms beside the main hall where the concubines can "entertain" the emperor!

If you have watched some hk or china dramas then some of this gates would be familiar to you!

This is the lock of the gate! its very big and heavy!

This is the palace of the empress! but i didnt have the chance to shoot the things inside because it's being protect by shields which reflects light!

we are at the most famous garden in ancient china!

Its also one of the mystical beasts which i don't know what name it is, haha

This picture is very interesting, its actually a room whereby the empress and the emperor would come and view the beautiful scenery of the forbidden city! And whats more it's that in ancient times, you are considered very rich if you have stones in that backyard of your place! Moreover, these stones are coral reefs! and it's being stick and built together not by cement but by egg whites and glue! we didnt get up there because it's kind of weak now and it might crumble if we were to go up.

and finally we were out of the city! and notice the tower over there? it's where the empress dowager views the scenery!!!

Well thats all for the day and let me tell you that though i have little pictures , the forbidden city can only be fully explored in fastest the most 5 years times, cool huh? You can imagine there are still alot of rooms and places where we have yet to visit!

Nights out to part of the town area

Hey guys it's time for my update once again, it happened on thursday last week as friday was good friday so after school hours, my teacher decided to explore a small part of the town herself and so we decided to follow along as well because we think that it would be fun to do so. the picture above and below is the bus stop where we waited for the bus, normal singaporeans will not know that it is actually a bus stop until you take close notice of it.

This is part of the streets, although i think it looks quite like the singapore buildings in the picture, its not really the same when you actually see it yourself, the buildings are quite "communist" to me.
And here is a picture of the petrol station and i must say that most of the petrol stations here are very well decorated and designed which i feel is more beautiful then the ones in singapore

And finally here we are at the shopping area, take notice of the poster here which i felt it was quite funny as the quote they had was quite ironic or rather i didn't understand.

They even have malan la mian here!

This is one of their banks, in singapore we hire the cisco officers to escort the money, but in china trhey use the army troops to escort the money, quite dangerous huh!

And here is how the streets of china looked like, i didn't know that this person was actually digging "gold" when i took this picture until now!

And finally we came to this fast food chinese restaurant to have dinner, cool huh? Singapore only serves westernize fast food whereas they have their own fast food here! I ordered pork rib rice with pigeon's soup, and i didn't know until i actually tasted the soup and read the menu properly once more, tasted like chicken but they had tinier bones.

Their fast food restaurant is even backed by the kung fu master Bruce Lee!

I took this pic as i felt it was quite interesting that this dog actually looked like those stone lions standing on the tablet, haha.

After walking awhile one of us had gastric so we went back after that. We'll be heading to The Forbidden City on friday!!

Beijin

Hey guys, sorry for not being able to update, i was busy preparing for the beijing trip and didn't really have time to use the computer, alright now i'm here to update you with the photos i took during the trip!

Day 1.

on the plane the beautiful air stewardess gave us the arrival and departure card which i find it funny, and you shall know why.

and what caught my attention was the great wall of china painting displayed at the airport!

it was like almost 10 meters long! i couldn't imagine how great it would be to see one of the seven wonders of the world soon!

You would guess that the Beijing international airport would be filled with people but i the airport was almost empty!

and i found out that the chinese in china are very proud of their own brands! (although they claim that they actually just change the normal brands that we have in singapore to their own brand names!)

ya i forgot to tell you guys, if you think singapore changi airport is big then you are wrong, let me tell you that hk airport has 7 terminals!

One of the police officers there was shock when i conversed with them in cantonese!

after that we reached and collected our bags i took some pictures and found out that there were actually quite alot of people!

then teacher came and we boarded the bus to the hostel we're supposed to stay in.

by the time we're at the hostel the sky got dark and we quickly settle down and went for dinner at a restaurant

and after dinner we went back to the hostel to settle down. I already started to miss my family, church and especially my dearest baby. =( wonder how am i going to get by 1.5 months.

Have you ever had problems? Problems that are not considered small but one of those that could break your mind, soul and body? Have you thought about giving up sometimes?

If you have that's normal, but these things that can break you will make you stronger after you have surpass them! Problems are there for you to draw out your courage, your real inner self to solve this problems! And once they have been drawn out, man! You're going to have a greater capacity for greater things!

Patience is capacity, it's also the ability for you to handle things, be it big or small in your life!

Wow, unbelievable right?
Here I am with my own blog.

Never thought that I would be having my own blog until now, already 21!
Other people have already posted on their blogs since ages!

Its very ironic for me as well, I used to be someone who always criticise people who blog as i feel its very girlish (in my humble opinion) but in the end who knows...haha...what goes around comes around...

I decided to blog because I've simply changed my thinking over the years...
What makes me want to start blogging is that:

I'm able to put down thoughts of the day to provoke people to think
I'm able to blog down my feelings regarding things that happen around me
And of course to record down things that are happening in my life!
Because I'm able to share with people about cool stuffs!
An informative blog? who knows?

Well, its like 1.08am right now, will need to wake up at 6.45am tommorrow for my stressful FYP and i'm still awake blogging.

Wonder if I'll oversleep, and waiting for my sister to prepare some nuggets and fries to enjoy of course...too bad la..haha...I'm a supper kinda guy so i guess its ok to indulge in unhealthy food sometimes.
